The Inland Stage Company (formerly
Murrieta Repertory Theatre) seeks performers for the final 2 shows of our
2011-12 Season.
Auditions will be held with the ISC artistic staff on at the Esplanade Arts
Center, 2181 W. Esplanade Ave. San Jacinto, CA 92582.
To make our audition process more efficient, we advise all auditionees to contact
the directors via email prior to auditioning.
January 14th, starting
at noon: The Importance of Being
Earnest, directed by Yvonne Flack This
masterpiece is probably the most famous of all comedies. It revolves wittily
around the most ingenious case of "manufactured" mistaken identity
ever put into a play.

February 18th,
starting at noon: A Piece Of My Heart,
directed by Alsia Lovas A powerful true drama of six women who went to
Vietnam and worked as nurses for the American Red Cross. The play
portrays each young woman before, during and after the war. Roles are
open for ages 20-45.
7 Characters: 1M/6F
Martha- strong, self-composed, military discipline
Maryjo- pretty, outgoing, Texas accent, she also plays guitar and sings throughout the play, strong guitarist and singer.
Sissy- sweet, feminine, sense of warmth and fun.
Whitney- aristocratic, withdrawn, contained.
Leeann- Asian or Amerasian. Strong, tough, determined, urban and hip.
Steele- African American , extremely strong personality, very intelligent with good sense of humor.
There is one role for a man 25-35. He plays multiple roles.
